Not sure if this is where I post this question...however.....
Does anyone know of a site where DVC points can be bought directly from owners?

You can't "buy" directly from owners...it's referred to as "renting". If you go to the DVC Rent/Trade Board (use the Forum Jump on the bottom of this page), you can post there and see if an owner has points they can rent you.
