In the past, DVD management trained their sales people to take on the role of the friendly guide and being friendly and not pushy was their policy.
Today under new management, things have changed. Some sales people are just sales people and others still play the guide role. Bottom line is that Disney wants to make a sale and they don't want to waste there time if you aren't going to buy. They also know that if you don't buy today while you are blinded by the pixie dust, you may not buy. There is a reason that there is an active resale market.
Buy DVC if it makes sense to you, not because someone is selling it to you.
