DVC points in Japan

Can you use DVC points in Japan. And if you can does it use up more, less or about the same amount of points to stay at the resorts. I know it will vary from resort to resort but, just wanted to get a feel for how many points will be needed.

The resorts at Tokyo Disney Resort are available as part of the Disney Collection. Your points must be direct or resale prior to 3/21/2011 to book the Disney Collection.

We just booked Japan for 2015 and will try to use our points for the Miracosta. Our week's worth of SSR points gets us 2 nights there.

I just did the math and it's a better deal if I would rent out our points and then pay cash for the room (from $450 night +).

Reservations are done online 6 months in advance.
