DVC Online Tour---$40 gift card?

Hi - just wanted to let you guys know that I called the number on this thread. I am a Disney Visa cardholder but did not get the postcard. No problems at all. Pitch was quick and no hard sell. Gift card is in the mail.

How long does it take to get the GC? I called and spoke to someone a few weeks ago, but still no GC.

Thanks everyone for the heads up on this!!:goodvibes
I did it this morning and talked to a wonderful CM. He told me that he would get my info out to me today, and I could expect my gift card in about 3 weeks.
This is going to come in really handy when we go to WDW in June!
:disrocks:

I have done the tour in Disney 4 times total over the years and they told me that I no longer qualify for perks anymore for doing the tours. Wonder if I can do this?

Wow. I just called even though I never got a thing in the mail. From start to finish took 14 minutes. They did say I had taken a tour in 2006 while on a Disney cruise.... (who remembers these things that far back?)

NOOooo pressure AT ALL! I was told to expect the gift card in 4 to 6 weeks.

THANKS guys!

Finally got around to calling today. It was so easy...no pressure, just a pleasant, informative sales guy. The phone call lasted less than 15 minutes and my gift card will be here in about 30 days. :goodvibes

I just called and it was easy peasy with no hard sell. I was told that the GC would arrive in 30 - 60 days, so call soon if you need it in the near future.

The number to call is 1-888-838-1406.

You have to be a Disney Visa card holder and will be asked to provide the first 6 digits of your acct number to verify it.

Good Luck!

On the phone with them right now! Getting my $$$$$.

I just finished my tour. It's really neat how they have you go online while they talk to you! easy and painless. My guide did tell me that you will have to sign via fedex when the card arrives. Thanks Disney! :cool1:

Thanks! I just called and did it. Super easy, and answered a few questions I already had.

I just called but I'm kind of confused. All they did was ask for my info, kids ages, etc and the last time I've been to WDW. I was told I'd be fed-exed materials to read and then my GC would follow in a few weeks. I just got a link to the tour in my email. Do I need to watch it and then follow-up with the DVC rep? Or was that phone call the only one required?

I did the tour on 12/4 and just got a call from FedEx that my gift card is getting delivered tomorrow 12/12 :woohoo: So a little over one week of waiting and I will have $40 more for Disney :dance3:

Thanks guys

Just called - took less than 10 minutes - gift card to arrive in a month.

Seems to be too easy to be true.:goodvibes

Well, I'm confused like another poster...our postcard came in DHs name so I could not do the 'tour' and these type things are NOT his cup of tea. He was on the phone less than 15 minutes but when he hung up he said they told him his 'home resort' is Saratoga Springs and he can look over the packet when it arrives...now I'm really nervous that DH accidently committed to something and we have never gotten the email everyone is talking about.

I heard him give my email address but that was 5 days ago and nothing has shown up.

Should I be paranoid?

I don't think so they ask you questions such as your email. They send a package by FedEx in the package it's material on the club. They told me my home resort would be Saratoga Springs if I did the package I was interested in.I think you are fine after the package comes you will get your gift card sometime later.

Thanks guys
