DVC Merchandise confusion - isnt this what we got when we joined?

The items being discussed - travel bag, guide book and luggage tag - are these the same items that came in that big box when we signed all the papers? They dont sound different to me. Do the newbies get them included?

I think the luggage bag must be different. We didn't get a luggage tag, so don't know about that, but this one is a Mickey "Hand".

They are probably the same, but after a few years get worn, lost, broken. Many members use them and want to replace them. Now we can!

We never got luggage tags, so that may be an item that is of interest for me.

We didn't receive luggage tags and the tote bag shown on the 'members only' site is different from the one we got. It's possible that they've changed the bag over the years.

The mercahandise is differant. The luggage tags are shaped like Mickey's hand, and the carry on bag is black canvass not white. There were photos that came in the email message about the merchadise, but I can't copy and paste them in to this message unfortunately.

I joined in October and was given on site the canvas (blue) bag with the mickey hand luggage tags. I assume this is what they are selling???

If so then yes this is what they gave us in October imgoingtodisney.

Gee, I wonder why they're not selling the license frames (got one of those too)?

You got a license plate frame? I STILL haven't gotten one of those!

No biggie - next trip is in January. I'll be sure to check out this new merchandise while I'm down there. My original bag that I received with my first buy-in is falling apart.

We joined in April, received the white tote bag and they sent us the license plate.

We were given DVC pens when we signed the paperwork to close on our 100 point add-on last week. Plus saltwater taffy and cotton candy.

Deposit down in Oct.
No license plate, no candy (but I didnt need it anyways)
But they did send 2 DVC pens when they sent the fedex box.

The DVC pen is already hanging on my Christmas stocking. That's my big present this year.
