DVC members staying at Swan & Dolphin

Christmas is a wonderful time at Disney, our favorite time. We usually go a couple of weeks before Christmas when it's not too crowded. And the laundry facilities at the Dolphin are great. We were there a couple weeks ago for food and wine, and I washed mid-way through the trip. There are 8 to 10 washers, and a whole wall of dryers too and a large folding table. So I got everything done in about an hour. It's just down the hallway from Picabu's so very convenient. Have a wonderful time!

To put it in perspective, it is owning a vacation home, not staying there while on vacation and every time you leave your hotel you have to pass your vacant vacation home.

I understand where you are coming from. We stayed at the Swan two years ago for NYE and really missed sitting on our BWV Boardwalk view balcony. Really missed it. We are now booked at the Dolphin for this NYE on my DH's SPG points just in case my waitlist for a Boardwalk View studio doesn't come through for us. I will miss my balcony, but I would much rather be in the Epcot area for NYE than anywhere else. You'll be fine! The vast majority of the people with kids the same age as yours "make do" in smaller rooms without laundry facilities .
