DVC members sending packages home

Hi,
This thread was originally started on the main (US) DVC discussion board: Has anybody here bought gifts and stuff in WDW and then had them shipped home? Just wondering what the approximate shipping charges are and import duties etc.

I don't have any figures, but I know it's going to be way ahead of any charges to ship within the US!

if you do waht to ship there is a post office at the crossroads mate bought a paslode nailler some cds and some outher things and shiped them over to the uk think it was $30.00 .When i got my nailler i put it in the luggage it looks like a gun that shouts nails into wood and when i told them it was in luggage there was no problem checked with tsa before we went and you could even put a gun in hold as long as there was no ammo saved £200 on the nailler over there

I think that's a pretty good price! Considering last time we were at WDW we had to buy an extra suitcase (have you seen then prices of those? ) for all the extra stuff we won/bought.!
