DVC Members Only Event March 3rd, 2017

I was recently reading about the DVC members only events at the Magic Kingdom that are happening in February and March of 2017. I am DVC member and will be at Disney during the March 4th event. How do I go about registering for the event? Has anyone every gone to one of these DVC members only events at the MK? What is it like and how long is the park open til? Thanks!

Just an FYI, DVC revised the date of the second event and it's now March 3, 2017.

We are excited to announce that kicking off 2017 is a complimentary, after-hours party* at Magic Kingdom Park for Members and their guests on February 24, 2017 and March 3, 2017.

I went to the DVC event at MK earlier this year and am planning on attending the one in 2017. You can reserve spots for the maximum number of people allowed in your resort room or yourself and 5 guests if staying offsite.
You have to call the MS number starting at 8 am (1 hour before the normal phone line opening time) to reserve your spot. There will be a push this number button on the first menu to get to a special CM to make the reservation with.
On the date of the party, some resort guest were able to get there special paper bands at the reservation desk of their resort, anyone could get them at the MK entrance once you got through security and you provided the reservation number. You could enter the park starting at 4 PM (about 3 hours before closing), have full run of the park until normal closing at 7PM, then everyone that did not have the paper bands were asked to leave the park, at park closing only HM, Tomorrow Land, and Fantasy land were open. Disney brought out carts with ice cream, cookies, chips, and drinks; you could walk up to as many as you want and take what you wanted.
