And - he is getting us one of the two rooms we most wanted! What a long shot! This will be the same room in which I took my first DCL trip with my sons when they were 5 and 7. They are 18 and 20 now!!

Anyone had any luck in booking?

10.05am - I cant even get to the hold, just says CMs not available please call later.
10.30am - Im now on hold to wait to get through to CM. One step further than before
11.30am - got cut off after being on hold.
11.35am - managed to call back and get on hold again, but will have lost original slot in line
12.15pm - got through to CM!
12.45pm - booked.

It was painfully slow once speaking to the CM. No wonder the wait times are long.

Disboarders are overwhelmingly a ‘no’! Maybe booking it tomorrow will be a walk in the park?

Here's hoping. I'm ready to book. Mitigating the price by doing Oceanview for the first time. We went on the Mediterranean DVC Member Cruise last year and found that we were hardly ever in the room because there were so many activities going on. Can't do inside because we do need some sunshine to get up in the morning, so OV.

But the ship isn't going into the fjords, just to the port from which one can take an excursion for fjords. I thought.

Full payment is due at time of booking they had said, and the phone system keeps saying so also as I wait on hold...

ETA: they took full payment for us.

We cruise DCL a lot... Not leaning into doing that at this point. May revisit though!

Good times! Booked same room on same floor, also starboard side! Usually book concierge but it was sold out. Started calling at 10:05am and was on hold for an hour before getting to a CM.

We plan to see Hercules at West End either the night before or the night after, and also go to Amsterdam before or after cruise. Looking forward to planning!

We are doing a Viking River Cruise in August 2026 instead and it is much less than the Member Cruise!

We've already done a couple of Member Cruises and have enjoyed them, but not enough to give up my Chateauneuf-du-Pape as I'm cruising through the Avignon area

Yeah, but we really wanted to do this first wave, as Bret Iwan -- the official voice of Mickey Mouse, and the first person to officially draw and voice Mickey since Walt -- is scheduled to be the special guest appearance on the cruise. That, and we've never been to France or on a river cruise, so are excited to do all of them.

I'll get on a full member cruise some day (I hope)!

If it helps, Brett Iwan is likely to be on the Member Cruise. He and the voices if Minnie and Goofy have been on them for years.
