DVC Member Celebration Question

Does anyone have any information from 2017 cruises? Just curious if anything has changed, if I need to bring my own mugs for on-board.

Cruised in July 2017. No mugs just hats which you had to pickup at the DVC Member Desk.

Cruised in October (7 nights) and went to the Member Celebration. No mugs, and just a blue Member hat that we picked up later. They also stopped doing a different gift every night, just got the hats.

Some of those gifts were so tacky. Don't know how many DVC-branded light-up wristbands one person really needs

We got hats on our 9/30 Fantasy cruise. They also served the drinks at the member welcome session on embarkation day in member cruise glasses that we got to keep. We asked about the mugs and they said they don't do them any more.

I too went to the DVC member welcome session back in October and they only gave away hats which I had to ask for when we bought more points.
