Only part of it will be a DVC resort. One wing are DVC villas and the other side is for hotel rooms.

Nearby to historical sites on e western side of O'ahu, Aulani will be located on 21 acres of oceanfront property in the Ko Olina Resort & Marina development. The Resort is planned to have 360 hotel rooms and 481 two-bedroom equivalent Disney Vacation Club villas.

I like the name of the resort. Is is pronounced Ah oo lon ee? What does it mean? When I googled it a baby name website said it means King's messenger.

They have been saying since Day # 1 "late 2011" so I figured sometime in the fall...probably open by T-giving I would think. But I just figured all along we'd just plan to go in 2012. So we're flipping our cruise year & our Hawaii year.
