DVC has completely spoiled me!

If you have not been to Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Santa Rosa Beach all on 30-A you will be amazed at the difference. Except for two grandfathered in high rises in Seagrove Beach, there are no high rises, no chain restaurants along 30-A.

There are some fabulous local places to dine and shop.

Thanks, we'll get there eventually. Just started even going back to the general area the last couple of years due to my sense of loss based on the changed from my childhood.

Just stayed in a Deluxe Studio at VB and let me tell you there was nothing "Deluxe" about it. The Inn Rooms are much nicer there, but I really wouldn't put any DVC room above 3.5 stars. The nicest we've stayed in was probably BLT after it had first opened. You pay for the location and theme, not the accommodations.

I am spoiled by the balconies at DVC. It makes me miss DVC when when we stay at a regular hotel without one.
