NEED HELP can't get anyone to answer phone at WDW golf.

Just check DVC site for golf prices in Oct 05 says $89 with DVC golf membership. LBV

Also check WDW resort golf rates and got the same $89 FOR RESORT GUEST for LBV. What is the dicount for DVC golf membership at this time?

:confused3

Sign on to the members website. Got to Just for Members/members benefits & privileges/veiw members benefit guidebook. That gives you the rules and current prices. A discount is not always available from what I'm told.

this is from the DVC site: shoe and club rentals free

The Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership also grants Members other exclusive benefits, such as complementary golf bag storage, club and shoe cleaning service, club transfer service, a special tee gift, and transportation to any Walt Disney World golf course from select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Additionally, Members also receive free golf club and shoe rentals at any Walt Disney World golf course, until December 31, 2005.

To participate in this plan, purchase a Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership (valid for one year from date of purchase) for the discounted price of $50 plus tax. Members may purchase the Golf Membership at any Walt Disney World Pro Shop or by calling (407) 939-1313. Cardholders and up to three Guests (only when they are playing with the Cardholder) receive special per-round pricing.

On the benefits pages it says clubs and other items are not covered .

very confusing but according to others who have been there, clubs and shoes are free.

thanks again Dean

i buy my dvc golf card every yr..............awesome perk for us duffers.......

Also, the 5 major courses typically vary in cost. LBV is the least expensive. So while you may pay the same as a resort guest at LBV, go over to Osprey Ridge and find out what resort guests pay there. I'll bet it's more than $89 there. But for DVC members, $89 at every course. So Osprey Ridge is "the better buy" with the DVC card. However, maybe you're like DH-he really likes LBV!
