DVC Golf Clinic

HAs anyone done the DVC golf clinic at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Club?
Is it any good?

I've done it. The Thursday session is full swing, and the Friday session is short game (chipping and hitting out of a sand bunker). The instructors do a great job, and provide tips based on your skill level, as it ranges from total beginners to fairly experienced players.

For $15, you can't go wrong.

Is it only for adults? My son is the only one in our family who golfs and I think he'd enjoy it.

Interesting, do you get a ride to the range or do you need to take a taxi?

All you have to do is take a bus to Saratoga Springs! The golf course is right at the resort.

I don't know if there is a minimum age or not, but I'm sure kids down to about 12 or so would be fine.

Also, I'd call the day before to let them know you are coming. I've seen the class with only 2 people, and I've seen it with 12. With 12, they had to arrange for more pros to help out.

We did the clinic.It was well worth 15 bucks.
The instructor knew his stuff amf took his time with each of us.
There were 6 in group.
I guess i hit about four or five baskets of balls.

I will definitly do it again.It gave my son and I a chance to hit some balls on have some fun .

And how long is it? I'm particularly interested in the one on Friday, for short game. Do you pre-register?

Hopefully they'll allow a 10 year old. I think we'll bring his own clubs in case they don't have any small enough. I hope they still offer this next summer.
