This is a fun thread.
My name comes from the early 60's. I was a 6 year old living in New Orleans when color tv came out. Due to a bet my dad made with the manager of the Sears store about color tv never working, we got the first color tv in New Orleans deliverd to our house. It was supposed to be the store display model, but we got it. The first tv show broadcast in color was Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, so at 6:30 every Sunday night the whole neigborhood would bring food and gather at our house for the weekly Friends with Mickey party.
When we started regular trips to Disney in 1991 with our kids our trips were to go and make friends with mickey.
To this day our grown kids, now 25 and 26 still want to go and visit our friend Mickey.
Thats my story and I am sticking with it.
