I am going to ask my Guide about this next week, but thought I would run it by y'all first.
My first use of DVC this year will be simple, a week at VWL.
For 2003, though, I'd like to take my sister and her 3 kids to Disneyland Paris. With creative banking/booking, this should be doable.
BUT there are 5 of us. DVC DLP rooms at the resorts available to us house only 4, as far as I can tell.
I would of course be willing to pay extra cash above my points used to somehow upgrade (for instance Newport Bay has the Admiral Club floors that sleep more people), but I'm not sure if I would be allowed to do this.
In posts I have read here, guests at WDW resorts (such as Poly, etc.) may pay cash at the time of the check-in for an upgrade if it is available, but this is a very different situation, we don't need the upgrade because we want a better view, we need it, well, to go.
I wonder if I should call DLP and see what their ideas about this are. Anyone have any similar type of experience?
Thanks
Steven
