Hi, I just called MS(AGAIN!) and they STILL SAY that they are not finalized!!THis does not make sense to me? They kick off the 50 years of Disney Celebration on MAY5th and we are now into the summer with the Anniversary Date for opening day of DL coming up in JUly.The crowds are HEAVY they give us a reduced point rate for the DLH(YEAH),but tell us more perks are coming? Why does it take so LONG and why do they annouce it if nothing is finalized?? Sorry to RANT but I like to plan ahead and pretty much all my plans are in place for our July visit. But I would still like to know if anything will be offered in DL thru DVC. Thanks for reading! Joan

I doubt we'll see anything else in terms of DVC perks at DL in the near future. If they were going to do so, it would have been on board by now.

How's this for wild speculation.....

They will release the DVC DL perks with the announcement of DLV (DVC at DL)!?!?!

Well something was mentioned in the last "Club House" about DVC offering discounts at DL and when you call and ask they say "not finalized yet". So I believe they are working on SOMETHING, but they sure are taking their SWEET TIME! :sad2: Joan

I am interested in "the DL perks to" for DVC. I have all my plans booked for Easter 2006 and it would be nice to know if we will get a discount on tickets, food. the dv card is offering discount by using you dv card.

It seems these "discounts" will be announced to hopefully generate more park attendance during slower times at Disneyland. I am sure the "we are working on it" response is all about when Disney feels it will be most advantageous to them to offer discounts. If travel is heavy now, why offer them?

Just my humble opinion on the matter.

DVC website is now listing perks for DL!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Introducing the happiest perks on earth
The debut of Disney Vacation Club Information Centers at the Disneyland Resort didn't just deliver the best-kept Disney secret to West Coast Guests; it also delivered a host of new Disneyland perks to Members throughout the Disney Vacation Club community.

Disney's California Adventure™ Park, meanwhile, offers that same discount (excluding alcoholic beverages) at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Pacific Wharf Café, Pizza Oom Mow Mow and Taste Pilot's Grill.

A variety of perks and discounts are available at the nearby Downtown Disney® District, including offers from AMC® Theatres, Basin™, Catal Restaurant, Club Libby Lu, Compass Books and Café, Department 56®, ESPN Zone®, Haagen-Dazs® shops, Hair Wraps, House of Blues®, Illuminations®, Island Charters™, La Brea Bakery™ Cafe, LEGO® Imagination Center, Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria, Pearl Factory, Rainforest Café®, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, Something Silver, Tom Kelly Caricatures, Tortilla Jo's and Wetzel's® Pretzels.
