DVC Discount-MNSSHP

follow the link for the DVC AP which takes you to the ticket store page. On that page in the upper left you can switch it to "special" or something similar and then the party tickets show up!

Member Privileges > Member Perks > WDW Resort > WDW Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic > WDW Annual Pass Savings. Click on 'Walt Disney World Ticket Store' under 'How to Purchase a Pass'. Once that loads, select 'Special Events' in the 'Browse Available Tickets' drop list and click 'Go'. The event tickets will be listed twice so you need to read the descriptions to make sure you are getting the Member Priced tickets. One grouping is the regular advance purchase price and the other is the member priced tickets.

Geez. Could Disney bury the link any further? It's a wonder anyone buys MNSSHP from the site.

Thank you for this thread! I finally just got my Halloween tickets, I NEVER would have found it! I usually just call MS and order them that way, but I do prefer to do it myself online. Hahaha, this should be made a sticky!!! :rotfl2:

I'm having to go back to get my discount after the fact because I forgot about it. Here's hoping they credit my account after the fact. UGH!!!!

Found out last night MIL can join us for MNSSHP, so had to refer to the thread to find my way back to order another ticket, LOL! Not easy, for sure, but we now have our 3 discounted tix! :)

Thanks for the guidance everyone, but wow - we went about 6 years ago, and it was not that expensive. It's getting close to the same price as a one-day park admission and I'm second-guessing if we should add the cost to our trip. I know the kids want to go, but they have jobs and I told them they could buy their own tickets if they want since we paid for their AP's. Anyone else find the 'special events' a little pricey for the amount of time you get, or is it still worth it?

For me its right at the price point were it is almost not worth it anymore. I think $65 is the point were I will definitely second guess it.

If we wait until we arrive on property to purchase MNSSHP tix - can we still get the DVC discount? Or do you have to purchase them online in order to get the discount?

You must purchase at least one day prior to the event to get the member pricing.

I totally agree with the others about the price getting high. Especially if you've been to the Parade before. This upcoming trip will make 3 consecutive years for me and the only reason I picked up tickets for this October is DH will be with me. He's never been to WDW during October so it's a first for him at MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival. Next year I know I'll definately skip MNSSHP.

I know the AP discount is for immediate family only, but what about the MNSSHP tickets? We have some family thinking about going...can we buy the tickets or do you have to show membership cards or something to use them?

You can buy up to 6 I think.
