New here and Ive never seen this page, thanks! Is Grand Cal always listed here even when it's not available?
Yes, it's always been there giving us the glimmer of hope.

Darn.. thanks!Yes, it's always been there giving us the glimmer of hope.
You can go to "Offers and Benefits" tab, then click on "Special Offers" -- the Add On Tool is on the right side in a blue box.The other day I noticed the Add-On Tool was gone from the menu in the DVC area. I haven't been able to get back to it since. Thought that was interesting. But sounds like others are still seeing it?
Apparently, some may turn up if you stay on your Guide to let you know when points come available? But it is confusing, since they pulled Grand Floridian and Poly from the Add On tool page due to no points available.New here and Ive never seen this page, thanks! I’ll have to remind him again even though I’ve been told “that’s not gonna happen”. But that’s very interesting that it’s there when Poly and VGF are not.You can go to "Offers and Benefits" tab, then click on "Special Offers" -- the Add On Tool is on the right side in a blue box.

VGC Direct is possible, but highly unlikely -- yet, I was able to get 200 Direct VGC in January.I’ll have to remind him again even though I’ve been told “that’s not gonna happen”. But that’s very interesting that it’s there when Poly and VGF are not.
Thanks!! I will have to send an email every now and then so my guide knows Im serious and really want them. I would likely buy a smaller amount maybe 50.VGC Direct is possible, but highly unlikely -- yet, I was able to get 200 Direct VGC in January.
My guide explained to me that their system doesn't have a notion of a waitlist, nor alerting if/when points become available. To get points, your guide has to check the system to see if anything is available. It's luck of the draw if something is there and not snagged by another guide. If it is, they can immediately place a 24-hour hold on the points for you to call you and confirm if you wish to purchase.
My guide (Bill Koontz) had been periodically checking for me for like 2 years. I got extremely lucky. I had resale VGC points, and we visited in January, and DH and I decided we really needed more so we could either visit more often than every 3 years and/or stay longer. I called and asked if VGC was available. No dice. My guide and I exchanged a couple of emails, and I asked again "are you sure there's nothing?". No bueno. And then when he was leaving at 7pm that day, he decided to check for me one last time, and BAM! There were 200 points. He put them on hold, called me back. We financed the purchase, so that I could see my resale points - we had originally just intended to purchase 100 more points, but we bought all 200 Direct and then sold my 67 Resale (for more than we paid for the direct points!). Telling the story so you see how lucky we were, but also how luck-of-the-draw it is to get points on sold out resorts. If he hadn't checked before he left, someone would have seen the points before he was in the next morning and contacted their DVC member to sell them.
I was on property this week and chatted with my guide in person at SSR, other than the Visa incentive having expired everything else was unchanged that he showed me.I noticed this morning the formal DVC site shows the Summer Special Offers thru September 30th - is that an extension or are there new incentives? I noted the Add On Points pricing (before any incentives) has NOT changed, and is still missing Poly and Grand Floridian in the Add On Tool.
Thank YouThe minimum for cash purchase as add-on is 25 points, with 50 points as the minimum if financing.
Consider asking for Jambo rather than Kidani for ease of booking the more difficult to get rooms…Can I customize the amount of points I wanna purchase for AKL? I am only looking to buy 30?
I didn’t think it mattered which side was your home resort for AKL? Mine is Kidani but I’m able to book at Jambo with the same booking windowConsider asking for Jambo rather than Kidani for ease of booking the more difficult to get rooms…
You can, but you have to click an extra button when you own Kidani and not Jambo. If you also own Jambo it will default as one of your resorts! I know because I only own Kidani. lol.I didn’t think it mattered which side was your home resort for AKL? Mine is Kidani but I’m able to book at Jambo with the same booking window
This is true. The only reason I have both is because Jambo House was handed down to me from family and bought Kidani resale. You can, but you have to click an extra button when you own Kidani and not Jambo. It doesn’t matter if your contract is Kidani can still book Jambo at 11Consider asking for Jambo rather than Kidani for ease of booking the more difficult to get rooms…
I wish it were more of a special. Having to go to 2 br there is kind of a deal killer because it is straight SAP then.Copper Creek currently showing "Special Offers"
haven't stayed there, but I also understand the rooms are tiny as they are a hotel conversion... that and the cabin situation makes me unlikely to own there...I wish it were more of a special. Having to go to 2 br there is kind of a deal killer because it is straight SAP then.
