DVC Dining Plan Question????

DH called MS today and asked to have the DP added to our reservations for the end of April beginning of May. CM took the info down, but never asked for a credit card, when DH asked don't you need my cc, the CM replied no, not at all, then DH asked for a confirmation that the plan had been added to our ressies.....CM told him no confirmation forthcoming. We're both getting a little nervous about this, anyone else have this same thing told to them, or did you have to leave your credit card or did you get a confirm that states the DP has been added? Should we call back MS and inquire?

I asked Member services about this. Below is the response I received, most important is you pay for this when you check in.

We appreciate your interest in the Disney Dining Plan. We are pleased to announce that Disney Vacation Club has worked with our Information Technology partners to change the way Disney Dining Plan is sold to enable Members to take advantage of this plan at the five Walt Disney World based Disney Vacation Club Resorts (the plan cannot be added to a Disney Collection reservation) for reservations beginning on or after April 1, 2006. Member Services will begin taking reservations for the Disney Dining Plan as of January 3, 2006. Please note that Members must add the plan to their existing reservations prior to arrival as it cannot be added at the Front Desk, and payment will be taken at check-in. The cost of this plan is $37.99 per adult or junior per night and $10.99 per child (ages 3-9) per night, and includes one table service meal, one counter service meal, and one snack per person per night of the plan (rates subject to change). Certain restrictions on using and redeeming your meals may apply. Additionally, the plan must be purchased for the entire length-of-stay and for all Guests listed on the reservation.

Thank you! They didn't happen to say anything about confirmations did they?

I added it to our stay for June but wasnt given a confirmation number.
She also told me that we will be charge at front desk on check in
