Anyone attend the DVC Christmas dinner? With all the negative reviews for the Thanksgiving dinner we chose not to go this year but was curious if the Christmas one was better.

I don't know what the complaints were for the Thanksgiving, whish I did to compare.
I thought it was a very nice dinner and DH thought it was just wonderful, he wants to do it again next year, The food was fine nothing fancy, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc, etc. Plenty of food, lines were not too long.
On the table there were DVC tins with Christmas Cookies (yummy) not the kind they give out at the Merry Mixer but the ones they use to give out at the board meeting also on the table there was a Chritmas centerpiece you got to take home and leaving you could get a scrabble or monopoly games (DVC themed)
My only complaint was the music, I felt it should have been more Christmas-Holiday and it was really geared towards the children, which I must say the children seem to having a good time. If my grandchildren where with us I would have no complaint about the music. :rotfl2:

Thanks! Sounds like it was nice. Most of the Thanksgiving complaints were that food was meh, only one game for large groups and no music or festivities - basically not worth the price. Sounds like Christmas was better. DVC themed monopoly sounds cool! Wish they would sell that one at the resorts!

I wonder if the Scrabble or Monopoly games are the same that they gave out on DVC Member Cruises.

How are they DVC specific? We have a lot of family game nights so that's something I would buy...or maybe just a good excuse to take a DVC cruise ;)!
