Thanks for all the advice!! I wanted to share that we decided to purchase a small resale contract at BWV and are currently waiting ROFR.

We both feel good about our decision.

Well, let me put it this way. The 150pts at BWV are costing us about half of what 180 points @ BLT was costing us.
We'll see if it passes ROFR.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase. We did the same thing. We did a DVC tour last February and almost bought 180 AKV points. We held off and ended up buying 200 SSR points for about a third less than points direct. Wishing you luck with ROFR.

Congrats on finding a potential resale contract. Buy where you want to stay is cliche, but when you can do it more cheaply than buying direct for a resort that doesn't fit your desires, it just makes sense! Good luck with ROFR!
