BillSo you are saying that you buy a voucher for a new AP and you can keep it indefinitely before activating it?
BillHow much do they generally increase from year to year.

BillThat's correct, and the 12 months doesn't start until you exchange the voucher for the AP at WDW.
Bill

Instead of renewing, we buy new vouchers before the increases. We still have a couple from 2 years ago.
Depending on how often you visit WDW, buying new can sometimes save you money.

We are going to Disney World August 15. I would love to get in on the AP before any price increase. My problem is that I will be exchanging GAD vouchers towards the price. Is there any way I can do that now or am I out of luck if they increase the AP price before I go?
I don't remember, but money is money.
You might try to search the DIS because this topic comes up every year.

Bill THANKS for this info. Where does one buy these vouchers from?
i just renewed our dvc aps, they just gave me a number. the cast member said they didnt mail the ap voucher cards anymore. is that true or should i call?DVC Members can access the DVC AP discount page through the member website.
Non-members through the regular Disney website.
Buying the AP actually buys you the voucher which can be mailed to your home if you wish.
Exchanging the voucher requires a DVC Member card and a picture ID for each adult. Exchanges can be made at Guest Services at each park and DTD.

BillAnythings possible with Disney.
As I PP we are still using vouchers from a couple of years ago so the process may have been changed.
