DVC and New Meal Plan?

Does anyone think that there might be a possibility that DVC people can purchase the new meal plans? We are staying in a stuido, and really don't want to do all the cooking....
Is there anyone I should be calling?

No - when DVC announces (and this is a big IF) a meal plan - it will be on the DVC member site.

you have to get the rooms and tickets from WDW to get the meal plan that is being offered.

Someone reported that their guide said DVC members would be able to purchase the new plan. Hope that report was correct. Since all info on the new Magic Your Way will be released on 1/2/05 we can at least keep hoping until then!

I would love being able to purchase the meal only addon. We already have APs.

Even better would be the ability to purchase the Disney Dining Experience card that is available to FL residents.

Hoping that rumor is true...I am waiting on purchasing AP vs. 10day MWY and if they put the meal program in with it, I will be thrilled. I was going to look into purchasing vouchers, this is my other option if they don't offer it. I think DVC could really get on the wagon here, and offer the meal passes to compliment the passes. WIN-WIN to me !!!

Since, as presently presented, the meal plan can not purchased separately by folks staying on AP discounted rooms or using "room only" reservations, I doubt we'll see it as a DVC add-on option...but you never know.

Currently, in order to get the meal plan, you have to book a "package" at full rack rate for the room.
