DVC and dining plan

when you book your room using DVC points, are you able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan? We had a DDP on our vacation last month and we saved TONS of money.

What about Magic Express? Can you use that when using DVC?

I wish I would have had time to visit some of the resorts while we were there last month, but there was too much else to do. Looking at the layouts online, the rooms seem to be very similar.

Where can I go for reviews of each of the resorts so I can decide which one to buy in at. That's if I decide I need a particular home resort.

Yes, when you book your reservation tell the CM that you would like the dining plan. You can also use the magical express with your vacation. You can go under the members web site and request the magical express. We just got our luggage tags in the mail. I would look here on the boards for some reviews, you should be able to find them. We have only stayed at our home resort SSR.

Using DVC points and getting the dinning plan is actually a beter deal because you don't need to by a package and pay rack rates. You can also use AP or other tickets you might already have and not have to buy the tickets too in order to get the DDP.

We are using DME for the 1st time in Jan. We normally rent a car, but the prices are very high then for some reason. I called member services to have them send out the DME luggage tags. They came in just a few days.
