If you own 150 points at SSR and add on say 25 points at BCV, does it really help you with the 11 month booking at BCV? I mean if you can only allocate 25 points for BCV at the 11 month window and not any of the remaining 150 from SSR, how does this help? The only thing I can see is if one day of the week (i.e. Saturday) if very difficult, use the 25 for holding Saturday but then the rest of the week is up for chance at the 7 month window? Please help explain, thank you in advance!

If you banked the 25 points and borrowed from the next year, you can make a ressie worth up to 75 points at BCV. You could only do this every 3 years. By the way, I would wait on booking the Saturday night, because they cost more points, many people don't use points on Saturday night, and at 7 months out, you can probably use the SSR points for that night.

Even at that, we owned 50 VWL points in addition to the BWV, and we just bought 50 more VWL, so we probably will have a 100 pt. vacation there every 2 years.

You have it right - the 25 points at BCV are the only ones you can use to book BCV reservations at the 11 month window. Many members bank and borrow and go every other or every third year to have more points available at the 11 month window. For example, you could have up to 75 BCV points to use at the 11 month window if you bank & borrow and stay at BCV every third year.

It's also a good strategy to book weeknights at the 11 month window and the Friday and/or Saturday nights at the 7 month window if you are short on home resorrt points. Weekend nights tend to be more available at the 7 month window than do the weeknights due to the point cost differential.

Best wishes -
