Hi, Shan. We have 800 points at VWL, and 300 at VB. This seems to be the right split for us so far.Originally posted by lenshanem
Maistre Gracey, I too think of you when I go ride the Haunted Mansion. Are all your points at VWL?!?
Sorry guys, I had to copy ya'll and start a club for us "less unfortunate souls" - DVC 200 pt Club or below......
We've had quite a nice turnout on the thread.
(And yes, I know, having 200 points is still pretty darn fortunate!)

Well I'm the middle child once again. I don't have near enough to be in the top and with 300 I missed the bottom too.
and not too few so you are begging, borrowing and stealing...

Sorry Nick, got to disagree with you big time on this one. It seems to me that you purposefully omitted the poster because you disagreed with the way he conducts himself or your interpretation of his motives. That is not right, IMO. An explanation in parenthesis or similar might be a better way to make the same point.Originally posted by Nick@ VB+OKW
I comprised this list of DVC members that use the majority of there DVC points either for themselves, family, or friends, not to use for other means.
If I do another list for total pts for other purposes, I will be sure to include you.
Sorry.....![]()
I am not sure it's about being up to your eyeballs in debt, but rather how you choose to spend your money. Some like to have a big house, some like to have the nice boat, and yet others may enjoy expensive jewelry and fancy clothes.Originally posted by Crissup
I used to be in boating. People always felt that because someone owned a $150,000 boat, that they must be rich. Usually didn't consider that these people were in hock up to their eyeballs, and that many of them would end up in bankruptcy court the first time an unexpected expense came along. Usually, the people who *didn't* own a boat had much more money and credit available than those who did own one.
For all you know, these people might make the same money you do, but live in a trailer and drive a 1982 Chrysler "K" car so they can support their DVC fix.

I'd have to admit I've felt Nuthut was at times self serving and he does appear to have the points to mainly rent.
I respect your opinion Nick but not the conclusion. It's not right, IMO and no matter how many share the belief, it'll never be right. It's no different than picking on the geek or overweight kid, etc.Originally posted by Nick@ VB+OKW

I respect your opinion so I hope you respect mine, and that of a lot of other regular posters who feel the same as I do, and have also posted or thought that on this thread.

I guess you can say we agree to dissagree then.
