Saratoga is one of my home resorts, too. I've only owned for 2 years, but I haven't stayed there yet. You've inspired me to see how long I can go, lol.

Nice, I bought SSR planning to be you then decided to do a big family trip while we could still fit in a studio (5 total, so one kid was 2) our second year of owning.

Id stay there any time if I had to, loved it.

I’m terrible at managing two UYs. My spreadsheets are atrocious.

I’m petrified of trying different resorts. BLT’s convenience makes for a happy family, I can’t risk the complaining of commuting. I tried to plan a last minute October trip and could only book SSR. The complaining started immediately. I cancelled.

We have 6vuse years . Me and my husband love the challenge of it and can't wait to try out all the resorts. We still have BLT, BWV, BCV, OKW, AUL, CFW and HHI left to check off the list and we have AUL and CFW planned before the end of the year and hope to do HHI summer of 2026. We've also technically stayed at CCV when our 1 bedroom at Boulder was upgraded to a Copper Creek Cabin but does it actually count . BWV, BCV, BRV and CCV are going to be more difficult for us since we are a family of 5 and our youngest just turned 3. We have the points for a 2 bedroom but don't feel like our kids are quite old enough to be trusted in a 2 bedroom

Nice! We've been Saratoga Springs owners since '06 and I haven't stayed there since before my DH and I took our first trip together in 2011 (so at least 14 years for us, too!)


I know everybody says "buy where you want to stay," but we can be flexible with dates and often get a 1br, so we always stay elsewhere. Last week we were thinking about seeing if we could piece together 4 nights in May, and I managed to snag a Savanna Studio at AKL-Jambo at under 60 days, lol.

My husband and I are into DVC for mid-five figures and I’ve got addonitis BAD….

We bought into DVC in 2018 (CCV direct)…it took me 6 years to convince him we needed another contract (we bought BLT resale last summer), now I’m wondering how quickly I can convince him we need a third

I lurk on www.dvcforless.com regularly and tell him about the deals I find, just to see if I can plant any seeds…

LBV golf course caused addonitis for my husband last week, even though he is unfamiliar with the disease. He said it is a beautiful and fun course. He wanted to verify how many points we have and how many stays that is () when he arrived back at BRV last week. We used up a ton of points this year, so I don’t have plans for a 2 bdrm villa next year.

But what is enough? We just added our second contract in December (same resort same Use year I just wanted a good base amount there to insure the 1bedroom) and I'm at 375. I know in another year or two I'm going to want a third, this one smaller off the resale, but I just don't know how much I want to shoot for.

That’s the beauty of the wide range of themes for DVC. It gives all the Riviera vibes to me and totally gives the welcome home feels with the unique Disney artwork everywhere and Disney songs sung in French and Italian. I love the pics of Walt and family vacationing in Europe on the walls too. I’m glad it’s not everyone’s favorite though as it’s not as hard to book .

I agree with this! When I saw those princess pics in the hallways I fell in love. When I go on vacation I like to stay at a full service hotel and be pampered and have everything nearby. That hotel was made for me
