Don’t like the Poly at all - old, outdated, crowded. Was interested in the new IT, but definitely a no go for us since it is a part of the same condo association.

I advise folks to "always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS buy where you want to stay!"

...but I never pay much attention to that advice myself when I see a good deal on points.

When I was telling my husband about DVC resale, I didn't tell him about SSR and OKW because I didn't want to own there.

This one made me really LOL. That is so funny!

I think the Polynesian is cheap, tacky, and smells like a urinal.

I am at work and have to say I love this thread and the three threads above made me literally LOL at work.

SSR is my fav resort. To me it doesn't have the hussle and bustle of the others I stayed at and I feel most relaxed there.

Will never stay at BC just do not like some of the attitudes of other guests. Do not like the RIV undecided if we will stay there maybe a split or short stay to see if we have a different feeling from visiting a few times. Otherwise, we have stayed at all other DVC resorts. WE have our favorites, but none are off the list. Did not care much for GF as well but would stay there we prefer the Poly same layouts same main pool but the Poly is much nicer to walk around with the note I very much enjoy sitting at Gasparilla at GF for early breakfast, a snack and likely any other meal and very much do not enjoy Captain cooks at any time. If they could please move Gasparilla outside the DVC buildings at the POLY -there is a building by the bus stop that seems rather vacant for a long time- I would be very grateful.

We have stayed at every DVC resort...except Aulani.

Aulani is too long of a flight from the east coast with a kid!

We never stayed at HH,VB, POLY, or RR or west coast.

I have never swam in any pool at any DVC resort since being a member in 1996, or at any Disney resort hotel or property since my first visit and annual visits since 1971.

I've stayed at every DVC resort in WDW except Riviera (so far), and every Disney hotel property except Art of Animation.

I think that is the “Tiki Bar” vibe from the 50’s and 60’s that they were going for.

We’ve owned at VB since 1997 and don’t regret it for a minute. We’ve stayed there every year except 2020. It’s a beautiful resort and we love it.

I am no longer enamored by the theme parks. Love the DVC resorts (thankfully) but as I get older not a fan of the crowded parks any longer.

I don’t like Storm Along Bay @ BCV

I’m not crazy about Storm along bay either.

For sure it wasn’t enough of a reason for us to buy BC over BW. Add in that we often visit in cooler months where we may get 0-2 pool days over a week, I’d much rather have the ability to occasionally book BW Standard.

What’s better: a few hours in SAB or a few extra days added on the trip

Funny, just the absolute opposite for us! Love BCV and no need to return to BW. But that works well - we don't interfere with your reservations and you don't interfere with ours! We all have our likes and dislikes.......!
