During the summer.....

Do you spend time with your parents? I was wondering because each week my mom and I go either bowling, golfing, movies or whatever. Do you guys do this sort of stuff? Also...2 days before The 4th of July were going golfing down by the beach. Do you think it will be crowded? Last time we went there were about 7 people there including me and my mom.

I don't spend a lot of time with anyone during the summer.

Not really. Unless were going on vacation or something. I don't get to spend the summer with anyone usually. I'm able to go out with my 2 best friends a couple times, but not as much as we would like. I'm usually at home...on here.

We don't do special planned things though.

I usually just hang with my parents and go to different places with them like out of state. If I don't have any plans then yea. If I have plans I usually don't see them for days.

I'll usually get my nails done with my mom.
I work at the same location as her, just not with her. So we're always drive together a few days a week.

I'll go out for lunch with my dad, sometimes we go to the batting cages, bike riding, whatever.

I spend alot of time with my family and friends. My mom and I goes shopping. My dad and I go golfing. My sister and I play vmk all day sometimes. WIth my grandparents, I usually go over and sit and talk with them once a week. Then with friends, I go running with them, and usually just hang out with them. Then of course, my time to myself. I usually play my flute or guitar and i love to go running.

All the "cool" kids around here are too cool to spend time with there parents, but I do it anyways. I always feel awkward calling up my school friends during the summer, or really anytime of the year. I do have two friends in my neighborhood that I hang out with sometimes, but they are traveling for like a month and a half straight, so I don't seem them again until August.

it doesn't matter if your cool or popular you should spend time with your parents ,beacuse its no fun if you dont get to spend time with them. i hang out with my dad and play video games with him, so we can keep our relationship strong. i play vmk with my mom so we can chat while she's sewing our civil war dresses. Or while im at a friends house. not spending time with your parents could lead them to thinking you dont love them, and hurt feelings.

No, not really. My dad works long hours when he's at the hospital, and then when he is home he likes to have time to himself, which is a bummer. He really is a fun guy.

My mom tries to hang with us, but the baby has pretty severe colic and so she needs to be tended to alot, which takes time away from us. But, my mom and I are going to CA in august together, because she really wanted to go to Disneyland and so we're going.

When our family does do things together, its usually really fun. We're a bunch of crazies.

well, when i'm at home i'll talk to them and whatever..
but i work in the summer, and when i don't work, i go hang out with my friends.
so, maybe i see a little more of them than usual, but not much.

I'll be working pretty much all summer as a counselor in training at 2 day camps. But we're all going to Cape Cod in late August, so obviously we'll hang out then! But I mean, it's even hard to hang with my friends during this time, because my hours are long, and then they'll have something to do at night, etc. On some weekends though, my mom and I will drive out to a theme park, say, Dorney Park or Six Flags. I really like spending time with my mom, especially at a theme park, because we both love them so much. So that's always fun. But I'll be seeing an extra amount of my brother this summer, if that counts. He's going to be a camper at the camp I'm working at!

We usually go shopping together or out to lunch.
&& sometime's we just hang in her room and watch movies.

I don't hang out with my dad.

I've spent time with my mom so far this summer. We went to Key West. My uncle wants to take me to a Tigers game, and I'm going to see if I can get him to get an extra ticket for my dad. I'm also thinking about seeing if mom can get my dad and I tickets to the Poison/Ratt concert at Pineknob, oh I'm sorry, the DTE Energy Music Theatre ( ) at the end of July.
