I'm back to the grind today, I had a real bad "Orlando Withdrawal" day yesterday. But I have to keep reminding myself that in less than 5 months I'll be going back for HHN18. I am going to continue the more in depth trippy tonight, with links to pix and such. I have to look at a certain days pix and then have Sherry help me remember what we did that particular day, but I do have a plethora (there's that word again ) of pix, so I just have to decide which to use.

Ok, I have decided to back track a little and put some links to pix that I took our first Saturday (May 10th) at the parks.

In no particular order, since my trip reporting gene hasn't fully developed. Here are the cats that you can hear as you enter the Port of Entry at IOA.
Since my wife Sherry missed our Rottweiler Tasha so much I took a picture of these for her.
The weather was so beautiful I had to take a pic of the awesome Orlando sky, since the weather we left in PA so terrible!

Here's the Hard Rock Cafe, and some hotel transportation.
I love Marvel Superhero Island, I can't decide if that or The Lost Continent (with our favorite talking fountain) is my favorite??

OK, I'm going to try and continue some more later. We went to Old Town on Sunday May 11th, and I got some cool pix from there

And, see what happens? You go away, and forget how great it is, so you come home and add MORE days onto the next trip!

We used to go to FL for a week....then 10 days...then 2 weeks..... this year it's 17 days



Exactly how bad do you think my post vacation depression will be?

OK, Sunday May 11th. We didn't go to the parks at all. We slept in late, and hung around the condo for a while, then we went to Old Town to walk around, check out the shops and of course, spend some $$$

Here is the view of Wet & Wild from the ground floor of our condo. I was so into the awesome weather I took more pictures of the clouds.

I had to take some pics of the old style coaster at Old Town. It is a green, not exactly Hulk green, but green none the less. Here are a few shots of it.

Of course I had to take care of some business stuff with one of my audio guys back here. Sherry didn't yell at me for talking on the phone about work while on vacation, because having a small business is unpredictable as to when something comes up. Thank God for Cell phones!

I love the dog socks, of course we had to get some Rottweiller socks, because sherry missed our baby Tasha, who was back here in Bernville with my son. Of course Sherry had to go in here, and get some gifts for our pets (Timmy and Joe, the cats, and Tasha the Rotty)

This was a neat leather shop that had a lot of real cool stuff, didn't buy anything, just looked around. I love this laser tag place that has a crashed UFO in the side of the building

After spending a few hours meandering around Old Town, we went to Target for some more basic supplies. Then we went to an A&W drive in. It was cool to have someone bring us our food, we don't have any around here that I am aware of, something different, the food wasn't bad. It was a gorgeous night, so we chilled out in the rent-a-car and listened to the radio (I forget the station, but it was a classic rock station, they must have played 10 songs that night that I played in cover bands back in the 80s ) let the breeze come through the open windows, ate our food and talked about how awesome our vacation was going so far!

Next up when I get some time, Monday May 12th, that was IOA day.

And, where were the peeps on the coaster? Nobody was on it

Sounds like a great day....sleeping in, strolling around shopping, drive-in for dinner...just chillin' .... definately the picture perfect vacation day

We stayed at the Westgate Palace, before going to the Hardrock (it's lake for water sports and such, shares the water with Wet N Wild, it's that close to Uni) , not sure what the prices would be per night, as it was a timeshare exchange! It was very nice, when the only complaint was the buzzer on the elevator was a very annoying timbre, that's a good stay!!!!

Well, I just spent a good 40 minutes working on the next day of my report, and suddenly Firefox took a dump!!!!! and everything I had typed and all the links to my pics on Photobucket are gone! I think it's more Vista on this laptop, than Firefox. Anyway, I'm so frustrated, I'll have to try again tomorrow.

I am trying to get this done when I can, the trip report Gods are against me today, as I have to leave soon for a live sound show, and won't be back until 1AM tomorrow.

OK, I'm going to try this again. Monday May 12th, we arrived at the parking garage around 9:30, and as is custom, I had to take a picture of where we parked. As we walked into IOA, I took some random pix. Pic1, Pic2, Pic3, then, just for the heck of it, I took a picture of the picture taking guy! First up was the Hulk, I took some shots of the hulk as well, I just like taking pictures, no real rhyme or reason, just cause
Hulk1, Hulk2, Hulk3, Hulk4, Hulk5, Hulk6 and Hulk 7. Sherry wasn't feeling up to doing coasters yet, so I rode it myself this time. Then I rode Dr. Doom, Hadn't talked Sherry into doing that with me yet, but it was early in the vacation
We both rode Spidey, when we rode it over the weekend, it was a tad out of sync, and I couldn't really hear the voices of the characters during the ride, but the sound effects levels were fine?? Anyway, this time the ride was spot on. Took some random Marvel Island shots before and after Spidey. Marvel1, Marvel2, Marvel3, Marvel4.

Our next goal was to stroll up to DD. We took our time, savoring the awesome weather and taking in the view. Of course I was taking pix along the way. Pic1, Pic2, Pic3, Pic4.

I'm going to have to continue this day later, have to run, at least I got it posted this time, no Vista crashes
