Dumb ???

Ok, I know this sounds like a dumb ??? But I'm getting a little lost with our points and use years... Our family is going in March and it took 500 pts. When I go on the DVC site, it says under use year Sept 2006, pts. remaining is 60. Now, under the use year Sept 2007, the remaining points are 170. I need 198 for a trip we're planning in June. Can I take those 170 pts of Sept 2007 and borrow from 2008 to go on a trip in June 2007 or can I not borrow because I'm overextending???

The June 2007 will be within your Sept 2006 use year, so you would be unable to borrow from your Sept 2008 use year for that trip.

You would use your 60 Sept 2006 points & borrow 138 points from Sept 2007, leaving 32 points for you to use or bank between Sept 1, 2007 and August 30, 2008.

I'm not sure how many points you have, but if the DVC website says you have 60 points remaining, you should be able to use those 60 points in June and borrow the 138 points you need from 2007. And then you can decide if you want to save the remaining 32 points in 2007 and borrow others from 2008.
