OK, it's been a long time since we took a towncar to Disney. This will be our first time with our kids taking one. I understand alot of the companies have booster/child seats available. Can we use and install our own in their towncar? We will have DD's car seat with us since we use it on the plane. Do we have to let them know beforehand that we will have our own seat?

Also, DS will be turning 6 during our trip. Will he need a booster seat for FL laws? (Here in NY he needs until he is 6-7 yrs old)

Thanks!

When I used two of FL Tours vans a couple of weeks ago, I saw that both of the vans had two car seats in the back storage area. I did not see booster seats for bigger kids. I bet if you let them know you are using your own, it would be fine.

We used Florida Town Cars a couple years ago. You can use your own car seat or use one of theirs for an extra fee. You need to request this ahead of time. Can't remember how much extra. We asked our driver if carseats were required, she told us town car services are the same as taxis so carseats are not required by law. We rented a car seat from them for our DD almost 3yrs. old and strapped in our DD 5yrs and she was fine. If you decide not to use carseat for 6 yr. old you might just want to bring one of those seatbelt adjusters so the strap isn't to high.
