Dumb Question

My two boys and I have all been using the same character. I have heard that others have mules and other characters. How do I make other characters? My son is afraid if I click on "new players" and do it that way, it will erase the one we have.
Can anyone tell me how I can make more characters without doing that? I have been trying to search the forum but search rarely works for me.

If you click on New player you will not erase your previous characters. You have to put in a new email address for a new char, you can make one up or get one from yahoo.

It's better not to just invent a fake email address because if you ever need help they can't respond to you. It's easy enough to go to gmail, yahoo, hauntedmansion, etc to get an email address. Just make sure you write down THAT password so you can access it later. (I did that once - added a hauntedmansion.com address that I didn't use for actual email...then forgot my password so I couldn't get help from VMK! )

It will most definitely not erase any other characters. Our family of 4 VMK players has probably around 20 characters total.

If you create an "adult" character, you would need to use a different email address each time you create a new character. If you create a "child" character, you can use the same email address each time you register -- just use a different login name and password.

Not only what she said the kids dont even have to have the @ some address in it. So your kids can sign in much easier with a name like joeblow as a sign in name. No one ever sees the sign in name so they can even use thier own names if its not taken.
