Dumb ? of the day... Adding discount codes?

I'm pretty sure i've read this here before, but just want to make sure before I go and book.

We want to book for Thanksgiving. So we'd like to book now to ensure we get what we resort we want. If they come out with a discount code at a later date we can call and apply it right?

Do you just call back and they simply apply the discount code or is there more involved to it once it's already booked and you want a discount? TIA

You can just call and have the discount rate applied to your reservation assuming they still have rooms available at the discount rate. That's why you have to keep an eye on this site and www.mousesavers.com and as soon as you see a discount rate you should call.

Make sure you pick a resort that you can afford since there is no guarantee a discount will become available for your dates. You don't want to book the Poly at $300/night if you can only afford $200/night.
