Dumb Dining Question

I was just wondering what does "Disney Dining Experience 20% Discount" mean and do some resturants offer other discounts and if so what would they be. We are going to WDW for 18 days in September and we will not be on the DDP ...we are going to compare to see if really worth it now that some changes are in effect. Thanks for all the help.

The Disney Dining Experience is a discount program available, for a yearly membership fee, only to annual passholders and Florida residents.

There are a few discounts also offered at some restaurants for annual passholders and DVC members.

It means that if you have the Disney Dining Experience card you get a 20% discount. I don´t think restaurants usually offer other discounts.
