Hello Kim and Scott! Thanks for dropping in. Scott, thanks for the compliments on the Lion King photos. The way to my heart is to compliment my photos.

Alas, Hubby is sick today and has been throwing up all day. I called out from job as a nurse, to play nurse for hubby. He is asleep now so I will work on my TR.
ANIMAL KINGDOM PART 2
After lunch we are headed on our way to the Nemo show. Hubby is bouncing the whole way and has assigned me the job of trying to photograph the show. He used to be very possessive of that camera but has now basically given it up to me. We are about halfway to Nemo when we see a line for Lilo and Stitch. Score!
The line is not too long so we hop right on in. Now, you may remember a little rant I went on earlier about wishing they would just close the lines if they knew characters would be leaving? Yeah, just repeat it to yourselves. We are 2 people away this time when someone comes out from behind the wall and says "Okay guys! Time to wave goodbye!". The characters turn and walk away. I was a little disheartened, but I am an adult and I can take it. The three year old in front of us can not take this.
Honestly, the cutest little girl with her book in hand had been dancing for the past 5 minutes in line. We had heard her in line talking to CM about how it was her *favorite* movie and she was gonna be Lilo for halloween. When Stitch and Lilo walked away she just burst into tears. She let her little book fall to the ground and turned her head upwards as if crying out to the heavens "Why?!?!". She just stood there, arms at her side, face upwards, crying her little heart out. The Character spotter and the photopass person both felt really bad about this. You could tell by their faces, especially since the spotter had been chatting with the little girl about stitch. Her parents were good and just assured her they would find stitch again later on, that they could still see him. I am not sure exactly what happened as my minions and I walked away with the rest of the line but I saw a CM talking to the little girl and trying to make her happy again. They felt really bad. This is why the line closing system really worked better, because there is always some heartbroken kid in the lines. If the lines closed you wouldn't get this half so much. If I could have made it better I would have.. but alas all I can do is gripe about it in my trip report.
Anywho, on toward the Nemo show. We get into the show early and manage to get front row! Usually I am not a big fan of front row seating, but since we are trying to take pictures we go up front. I start off by spending some time being artsy with the bubbles and taking photos of them. I just set the camera on the wall and aimed up. We are excited to be in the front row of the nemo show, what a great view! Hubby is particularky happy and Kay wants a photo contest. *ppsshh* I can take her.
I used that one as a background in my digital scrapbook. Once the show started the first set of pictures came out really bad. It wasn't until Crush came out on stage that I figured I needed to put my ISO way down so the shutter would speed up. Then with that low I got some decent pics. I'll post a few of my favorites here. I am so proud of these darn pictures because they were so hard to get. Once again, a dark theatre with things in motion. Here is Nemo!
I like this since it seem as if he is looking at the camera
Never did get a great pic of Crush since I was still tweaking the settings. But this is the best.
I like this one for the expressiveness of the actor.
Nemo's friends.
This one has so much color and many of the characters
Now take a bow everyone. Great show.
After Nemo has ended Hubby is happy and I now have the dreaded task of sorting through 250 photos to find the 10 or so which came out good. Sitting in the front row was good, the only part we could not see was when the actors were on a ledge over us. Other then that it was fabulous! We find a gift shop to go into as I sit in a corner huddled over my camera. Kay gets artsy fartsy with the merchandise in the shop as she was unable to capture the nemo show. After the picture editing is done I go take a look around the store. It isn't long before Hubby calls me over to look at something. He has found a gift for me, a cheshire cat shirt to add to my Disney wardrobe. Sweet man! We purchase the shirt and then head out of the parks.
It is now time to go meet Sharkbait!! Jay has a brand new daughter, only two weeks old and we are on our way to meet her. Kay and I are squeeling with excitement as Hubby once again looks frightened whenever I mention the words 'baby' and 'cute' together. We get to Jay's house (he is only 10 minutes outside the parks) and wait for baby sharkbait.
Now, to make a long story very short, Jay is in the middle of a messy divorce. They were already on the rocks when X-factor became pregnant and she walked out on Jay soon after she found out she was pregnant with sharkbait.

He tried to save it..... X-factor refused. Oh well. I am just pleased she allowed us to meet Sharkbait since X-factor hates the minions and myself.
Sharkbait arrives and she is adorable! X-factor must be in a good mood because she allows me to hold her! (insert girly squeel!!) Most infants I meet are not really cute. They are just too skinny at first and look like little Yoda's. Sharkbait however is beautful. She has round little cheeks, a fat tummy, blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is very sweet and we all have fun. Even hubby comes around and starts to play with sharkbait. It is still an awkward visit overall due to tension between X-factor and all of us (Jay included), but it is about as good as we could have hoped.
After X-Factor is gone we make our plans for the evening. Tonight it is pleasure Island!! Jay will be coming with us as we go dancing and hit up the adventurers club.
We get dressed up in our finest and head over to PI. We figure out tuesday nights are dead real quick when we have the mannequins dance floor entirely to ourselves!

This is fun because we can play around in the cold CO2 blast. After this we head over to the beach Club to see the band. We spend a little time at each club, and get to know each bartender.
When we make it to the Adventurers club it is fun as usual! Though some of the actor's give me a hard time about not being able to put the camera down. For this reason I only take a few since I became a bit self conscious once they started teasing me. Plus, Dark show with people in motion! We go to the Hoopla! As well as to one other show before it. We also sit in on a lecture by the curator of the artifacts which is great fun. All of the characters here are just hilarious. They have a new person as the Butler Graves since I was last here and he is hilarious. It is also fun to see how the people rotate. Hubby and I have been coming there for 5 years and have seen the actor's play different parts. Our president this evening first began as Emil Bleehole, then became Hathaway, before becoming the president. We must also pay homage to the general. KONGALOOSH!
Most of the pictures are a bit blurry, but during the Hoopla both Jay and Hubby and picked to go up on stage and dance! Very fun. This place is the best place to hang out. Here is Graves, the butler.
At the end of night we stumble back to the hotel. Kay decided to take picture with Mr. Potato head along the way, as well as with the
Lego Family. I attempt to photograph Stitch from the World of
Disney store, decide I'm too tired, and vow to return in the daylight on my next trip.
We get to the hotel and all fall asleep, sad that this is our last night but looking forward to MGM in the am.
Next: MGM, fond farewells, and future plans.
