Got our dues statement today. It was postmarked 12/30. Since we are less than a hour away from WDW, it doesn't take long for mail from DVC to reach us.

They don't direct debit your dues, right? Either pay online or check in the mail, correct? I just want to make sure. Not a big deal, I just either need to send a check in or make sure I have enough money in the bank account!

You can have your dues deducted from a checking account on a monthly basis. You would need to contact Member Accounting to get it setup. There is no fee or interest when using direct debit.

Kansas here, got ours in the mail Saturday. I'll wait as long as possible and then use my Disney Credit Card, so I at least get some reward dollars.

Absolutely! That's what we're doing, so our dues divided by 12 will start coming out on the 15th. (better than the '09 dues, with 150 days worth being paid in 4 months!)

Direct Debit to a bank account is the only way to pay monthly.

I got mine in the mail yesterday, but I had paid them online yesterday morning. I normally pay mine with my Disney Visa to get the reward money. Got $32 in reward money! I always think the dues bill is a cure for Adonitis, it sure cures me. I am set up for a monthly payment, but right now (before I retire) I try to pay in full.

I'm not looking to pay monthly. I purchased and pay my monthly payments. My parents agree that, to use the points and be additional purchasers, they will pay the dues.

They can pay with check, right? Just send the stub and check in the mail? Just making sure!

I use my Disney Visa for everything, pay it off at the end of each month and take the rewards dollars and apply them to my maintenance fees each month (i'm on annual statements). Then I make a separate monthly payment with my Disney Visa card (by phone, no direct deposit). By the time I get the bill there's close to nothing on it, and I'm earning and using rewards points towards it. It works out much better for us!
