I can get the DTD Doubletree for $107 night

or

the LBV Embassy Suites for $119

We have stayed at the Doubletree and like to be able to
walk to DTD. However, the ES provides free breakfast.

Can anyone tell me where the Emb. suites. is located from
DTD.

Give me your thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!1

Thanks in advance

We will be there the last week in April

I have stayed at both. By far the ES is a better value!!
You cannot walk to DTD. It's off Palm Parkway at the very end near I-4. BTW, if you stay at the ES you may want to request the main building, I find the outside lanai suites to be a bit noisy if you end up near the highway.
The breakfast is fantastic! They also have a free happy hour, free shuttle too.

Since no one was responding we thought we would stay
at Doubletree since we know what we are getting.
However, after reading your post we are torn again.

Is there anything else you could tell me about ES over
Doubletree.

Is it a nicer property?

I'm still not sure where the ES is.

We will have 3 Adults and 2 children. One adult my stay back
a few days and thought being close to DTD would be a benefit
of the Doubletree.

What do you think?

Location:
If you were to come out the entrance of DTD, Crossroads plaza is in front of you, you would take a left. At the next big intersection is Palm Parkway, you would take a right on it and proceed all the way down. There are many hotels on this road. It's not far.
I think the Doubletree is a bit run down these days. If the price were way off I'd say stay at the Doubletree. Just the huge breakfast, esepcially for 5 is worth it! The ES property is very nice. They do have the shuttle too. There is also a nice indoor/outdoor pool at ES. I'm sure other people ahve stayed at this resort, give it another day or two to decided if you can. In the mean time I'd book both as long as there are no penalties in canceling.

I stayed at the ES last year and liked it a lot, but agree you don't want a room in the lanai section facing the pool. It can be noisy. The shuttle schedule is pretty good and is not shared with other hotels.
