Well, this would describe several posters wouldn't it? I wonder if you're willing to be just as outspoken if someone appears to agree with your political opinion? If we were to pull up some recent posts that attempted to bash or insult say, President Bush or conservatives for example. Would we find your post there too? Wait, I'm pretty certain we would find your post there but let me rephrase that. Would we find your post there that chastised the poster for bashing and insulting?

Did I insult you? It seems like you like to throw stones and accuse someone else of stacking them. Michael Moore is a public figure and as such, he should be able to take what he dishes out. From what I hear, Ray Bradbury is quite angry. He plagerized the title of his book for Faranheit 9/11. That could be good for more points in the game.

All of my apples do not fall far from the tree. Actually, they are ahead of the curve. I didn't become a conservative until I was in my twenties. All of my DS's who can vote, and that would be three out of four are registered Republicans. I am very proud! They all are very nice young men as well.

Actually, I had no idea that CH had Alzheimer's when I was watching the movie. He looked and sounded fine to me.

I'll rephrase my opinion. Anyone who hosts an NRA rally in a town just days after that town has experienced a massacre in their high school is an insensitive idiot. Anyone who again hosts an NRA rally in a town just days after they have experienced the tragedy of a 6 year old shooting and killing another 6 year old at her school is an insensitive idiot.

This is, of course, off the subject of Michael Moore and Dawn's son's video game, but I agree. You'd think the decision to hold those two rallies wouldn't help the NRA as an organization, either. Hopefully the NRA will just collapse under its own stupidity.

Now, back to Michael Moore. Sure, he goes overboard from time to time. But he brings some real truths out that do not normally get the mainstream play that it should.

Making fun of his weight, as some conservatives on this board have done, only shows the weakness in their argument.

While the *some* of the left may say that he goes overboard from time to time, not many challenge him on the complete inaccuracy (some are actual fabrications (or in "I hate GWB" speak, lies)) of things he's said.

Too often people of all backgrounds tend to take what's fed them without actually using their own brain. Conservatives and Republicans are certainly not innocent is this category.

Your argument is weak. Things such as his weight, beard, and clothing style obviously has nothing to do with whether or not he is making valid points through his work. I suggest you try to look past your weight prejudices and examine what the man is saying. Who knows, you might learn something.
