13yo DS is officially a Lifetime member of WW, and 11yo DD is close behind!

Just had to brag somewhere!

I have a long way to go, but I've lost 30 pounds through WW and another 5 before I started. I just updated my WISH clippie. I have about another 70 or 80 to go.

Woo hoo for DS!!! You are all doing fantastic. It's great to see a family working together to be healthier! :cool1:

Congratulations,

Sorry if this is a dumb question;

What does that mean and how do you do it?

CONGRATULATIONS! What an accomplishment and it's so great that he is learning about healthy eating now and getting his weight under control instead of waiting until he's older. :Pinkbounc

Congrats to your DS!!! What a wonderful thing for the family to get healthier together! FAntastic!

Way to go, Kidlets!!!

For the user who asked what "lifetime" means for Weight Watchers, here's my quick and dirty version:

A WW member will decide what his/her goal weight is, with help from his leader. Generally (there are a few exceptions), this must be a weight that is in the recommended range for that person's age and height.

Once the member achieves the goal weight and maintains it for a period of 6 weeks, they become a Lifetime member!

One big advantage to becoming a Lifetime member is economical. As long as you weigh in at a meeting once a month, and you are no more than 2 lbs over your goal weight, you may attend as many meetings as you like at no charge!

If you miss your monthly weigh in, you'll pay for the meeting you next attend.

In the event you are a Lifetime member who finds yourself OVER your goal weight by more than 2 pounds, you still benefit. In this case, you pay only for meetings you attend. Normally, members must pay for missed meetings, but us fallen Lifetime members  don't have to worry about this. If you only show up once in a while, you still pay only for the meeting you attend. And no registration fees if you've been gone for a while.

That's awesome!

I was just thinking today about joining WW. I have been told it's good to "switch" diets when one stops working, etc.

Your kids are an inspiration, as are you. WTG!

WOW!
Thanks KathyTX.
Now that I know what that means I am even more impressed with your accomplishment. Way to go and keep up the good work!
CONGRATULATIONS again.

Congrats to you all, especially to DS!!! What an accomplishment that is!! How inspiring to read about an 11 year old who had worked this hard and achieved goal.
