Dry shoes on water rides

cheap shower caps, or the shower caps from your hotel room work great on shoes also!

This is a solid strategy which I've used many times. Once or twice when I didn't have a backpack I've even taken my shoes and socks off as soon as we board the ride and tuck the shows under my arm and held them tightly there. Not idea to go through the ride holding shoes but better than walking around in wet shoes!

My partner swears by her Adidas boat shoes. They require no socks and she can walk all day in them no problem.
