We were up really early today and out of the room for 8:15. I was still feeling really bloated from the pizza we had had last night and just fancied something light, fruit.
We decided to head for Ponderosa on the 192 and after waiting approx 10/15 mins to be seated, the fruit sort of went out the window.
Couple of pancakes later, I had some kiwi fruit and pineapple.
We arrived at Seaworld at around 9:40 and went to upgrade our Platinum Passes for the credit card style 'conservation' cards. BIG mistake. I wont bore you with the details but we didnt get into the park until 10:25.
We had planned to see the 10:30 showing of Blue Horizons so a short run was needed - should have had a couple more pancakes!!!
The platinum passes sure came in handy as we were able to sit in the reserved seats right in the middle even though we only arrived just as the show started.
Great show - love the music, although I do miss the parent falling in the pool from the old show!!!! Afterwards we headed over to Kraken that had a 5 min wait - this was more like 15 mins. Rode the back, flashed our Platinum pass and re-rode again.
No Clyde & Seamore - BOOOOO - I miss my pirate mime man!!!!!!!!
It was really humid today. Cloudy & Hot but at least dry!!!!
Planned to do the 1:30 show of Believe and popped into the Busch Hospitality Centre for my free buds!! Noticed that there was a beer school starting at 12:15 and we decided to sign up!!
Changed slightly since last time we were there in January. We didnt have to pick a range from beer cards. The host put 4 beers up on the table at a time and we picked one from the 4. I started with a Michelob Ultra infused with citrus - reminded my of our Fosters Twist. It was OK. My fav is still Bud Light, DH refers to it as Alcoholic Water!!!!
12:45 and we walked over to Shamu Stadium. Now I am still undecided on this show. I love the music but dare I say it - I find this show a little on the corny side. Dont think there is as much animal interaction compared with the previous show!!
After the show, we had a walk round, looking at the animals, dolphins, stingrays and the sealions.
On the way out, I picked up a leaflet on the Halloween events that Seaworld are putting on and I noticed that they were doing a Sesame Street breakfast with CountVon Count!!!!!! How can I pass up the opportunity to have my photo with Count and the other characters??? After putting on the please please please eyes to my DH, we book on for the 7/10 - I hope Cookie Monster is there!!!!
Back to the Passport Centre to try and solve the ticket problem.
Not convinced our passes are going to work at Busch on Friday, we headed back to the hotel for a swim. However, the heavens decided to open and we had a lot of rain. Chilled in the room for a bit and nipped out for a pizza before getting ready for Pleasure Island.
Back in the room and had a shower. Next thing - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Pleasure Island will have to wait!!!!
Tomorrow - Magic Kingdom.
