I don't understand why their isn't more information. Not even where they took him.
Just small print about a 2nd incident.
I have her (wife) calling his name in my head.... He's Korean.... 35-40.
Or I believe she was Korean.
My husband, in the OR today just called to see if there was anymore information.
My heart breaks...

I am so confused here. There was a drowning of a man on Serenity Bay, but now Anonymous0000 is saying that the man in the snorkeling lagoon also passed away?

Also, I find it very odd that he wants to speak in person. I smell a lawyer. Either way, I am sorry for his family and I hope they find peace and people aren't using his death as a quick payday. Society is so greedy and litigious these days, it's sad.

If I am not mistaken, Daisy123456789 and Jsimmet witnessed the accident on Friday with the Fantasy, and we have no reason to believe that the man passed away. In fact, people say that he was alive when placed in the helicopter. Since you say your friend is deceased, are you talking about the accident on Thursday with the man from the Wonder who we know passed away? So far there has been no one post here who witnessed that accident.

The speaking in person thing sounds fishy to me too......

DCL is not likely to release any further details. It is a private medical issue, just like any other passenger who becomes ill onboard. Majority of the time you may not even realize those incidents occur, and no details are ever released. I understand your desire to know the outcome, but think of it the other way -- if this were your family member would you want it splashed all over the news and/or Internet? I wouldn't; it's a painful and private situation.

I thank you and your husband for being good samaritans to help a stranger in a time of need; please take comfort in knowing you did all you could for the situation regardless of the final outcome. I would not expect either DCL nor the family to release any details. If litigation results, there may (or may not) be something in the news but I doubt that would be for several months.

This upsets me to no end. I can't believe people can be so insensitive. I am totally skeptical now as to who I should even talk to. Somebody is asking for my number claiming he's a close friend. Should I just try calling the ship? I just need some closure. I am sick to my stomach that I didn't pull him out as soon as I saw him. It's haunting me and I can't sleep. I wish someone could help me. I have no interest in violating the family's privacy.

Don't be sucked in, Jsimmet. This person has gotten their dates confused, their relationship to the "deceased" confused and all sorts of other stuff on other sites as well. They're fishing for info. There is no evidence that the Fantasy passenger passed away. I'm more of a mind that this person is not related in the slightest to the parties in either incident other than they are pursuing some kind of legal action, etc.

I would call Disney. They probably can't give you any info (HIPAA rules and all) but at least you know they're a known entity.

I know you don't know me but I can assure you I have no interest on violating the family's privacy.
