I don't understand the confusion. I confirmed earlier that yes, there was some sort of incident on CC today (Saturday), as I said in my original post, as well as the Wonder incident yesterday. The CM I was speaking to even said, "Two events in two days. That's no good." I am on the Fantasy as we speak. Here's the quote of my follow-up post, ten minutes after my first post.
Like I mentioned in my post we have family on the Fantasy now so the fact that there was also an incident involving a guest on that ship as well worries DW and I.
PM sent.
not to nitpick but today is friday...

My confusion only comes from that fact that two terrible accidents happened less than 24 hours apart on CC, not that I don't believe you. It was just so shocking I couldn't get a grasp on it at first and just wanted you to confirm that I read your post correctly.I don't understand the confusion. Your days get all screwed up when you don't have to punch a timecard. My statement was still clear, though. The difference between yesterday and today is pretty obvious.
Apparently a man from the Wonder drown yesterday at CC....
Anyone on here from that cruise hear what happened? Where it happened? So sad!! :'(

I heard about the accident yesterday from one of the staff today at CC. He told me about it because we had a medical cart fly by toward the ship while we were waiting for the tram to leave for Scuttle's Cove from the dock. A man was on his back, very gray looking, with a female EMT Cast Member astride him administering CPR and other CMs attending to him as well. A few moments later another cart went by at full speed as well, with a woman in the passenger seat who was very upset. I don't know any more, but it definitely gave me a lot to think about. I hope he's OK, but judging by the lack of helicopter or boat (other than excursions) leaving the dock here, I fear the worst.I saw a female officer come off of the Forward gangway and walk down to the medical cart as they were reloading the stretchers onto the cart, and another officer was patting her on the back. So sad.
Is this about the incident that happened today on Castaway Cay with the passenger from the Fantasy?Coast guard is just picking up family and patient. Looks encouraging as he was hooked up to I V etc. very young man with a young daughter and wife. I feel so much better. Ow
Not to be morbid, but are the tides/currents thr problem? Riptides or something? Serenity Bay always looks so calm in the photos I've seen.
There was a grandfather who passed away from a heart attack on CC on our January 2013 cruise. There was a large group of family members there and it was very sad. We saw them administering CPR on the beach and were very impressed by the actions and coordination of the other CMs. They quietly formed a protective human wall around the revival efforts to give them room and protect their privacy. The other guests on the each were very respectful and I think that some did not even know what was happening. We were about 2 hours late leaving CC, but once we got underway Captain Marco made up a great deal of the time.
