Drop off at MK - how and where?

We will be getting dropped off at MK, how do you do that? I know you have to pass through the toll gates, so how do they know you are not parking, just dropping someone off? And, where do you drop someone off and pick them up?? I'm guessing the ticket and transportation center?

You would be dropped off at the TTC, using the Lost and Found parking lot od the short term permit lot. Both are on Seven Seas Dr which is a left at the first traffic light by the entrance to Wilderness Lodge.

It will depend on the CM at the toll booth if you get charged a parking fee.

They charge a fee to drop someone off?? Has anyone had this happen?

I've never had anyone ask us to pay. The part of World Drive that is northeast of the parking plaza does not allow you to enter the MK parking lot, so there is no reason why you would have to pay to do so.

When you go through the MK parking plaza you'll need to stay in the second-to-farthest-right lane (the last one is buses only), and tell the attendant that you are headed to the Poly. You will need to bear right (but NOT turn right) as you leave the booth. Proceed to the stoplight and make a left on Seven Seas Drive.

You do head for the Poly, but you turn off before you get there. Once you are on Seven Seas, look for a sign on the right marking the Guest Drop-off area.

Have them drop you off at the entrance to the Contemporary Resort and walk to the MK entrance, it will be faster than going to TTC.
Follow the directions from NotUrsula above but do not take a left at Seven Seas Drive, continue straight to the Contemporary Resort, approx 1 mile.
