the worst part of driving for me is that im bad with directions. i had to pick my friend up from work last night cpz we were meeting up with people and she gave me directions on the phone and i ended up lost. well, i knew where i was but it wasn't where i was supposed to be. i was fine when she was in the car directing me though.
then on the way back home, i was alone. another friend gave me really good directions and i somehow managed to head north instead of south. i freaked out until i found the freeway again. then i was all like "yay, freeway!!!!!!!"

I gotta drive to Red Robin day today and I've never been there.

Yeah I'm bad too. Sometimes I mix up my left from my right, just because I'm stupid somedays. And I mean really, I'm probably going to bomb my first drivers test because they're going to give me directions and I'm going to get confused. Seriously, I bet it will happen.

uhg this is my worst fear about the driving test. Not that I'm gonna hit a car but taking a left when he said a right. lmao so sad.


I don't have any sense of direction either. I was directing my friend how to get to a mall a few towns over. We got there but then on the way home we headed way to far south and ended up in Cambridge. It was quite the adventure.

i do that too. i have to think, what hand do i write with? even though i know i sit on the right side of the car and drive on the left side of the road. knowing that doesn't help at all for some reason.

the whole time i was driving on my license test, i drove with my thumbs sticking out from my hands. that way i could easily tell left from right if i went brain-dead.

During my driving test they told me to pull over to the side of the road and back up.
So I get everything set up. I turn around tap the gas.... and I'm moving forward.
I forgot the put the car in reverse!
I was like, "hold on one second." And put the car in reverse.
I passed though. Thankfully.

Well I'm 18 almost 19 and in college
Durning my spring break I took my permit test, and got my permit
I started off with parking lot driving with my mom
and today I had my first driving lesson with a professional
I like driving, but I need to work on it haha
So I have 12 lessons, 2 a week until my license test
Yeah I know, I was late to start the whole driving thing but I wasn't ready until now

I'm hopefully *crosses fingers!* getting my license on June 30th. I got my permit a few weeks after my 16th birthday, which was in mid-October 2007. I definitely waited a long time to schedule my road test, mostly because my driver's ed experience was not the best. The teachers (lecture and driving) had absolutely no clue what they were doing. So in a way I had to reteach myself again, with help from my mom and a couple lessons from a private driving instructor. It sucks that I've been waiting so long, because I'm one of the oldest ones in my grade, and then sure enough I'm one of the last ones to get my license! I guess I'm mostly ready to take the test now. I still need to work on parallel parking a bit.

My mom's the worst backseat driver. Few weeks ago, I was in the car with both my parents. I'm inching out of the driveway, but I couldn't see on my right side because we have a flag flying. So, my parents warn me, but I inch up anyway. My mom screams at me.

I've had my permit since January. I've driven about 5 times.
I'm not on my mom's insurance so she wont let me drive. I have to go to a driving school but I really dont want to.
So my guy friends are teaching me. My best friend let me drive his truck in a parking lot on Saturday. It was so much fun!

Driving kind of scares me but excites me at the same time.
