We took the buses last time we went; however, we now have two small children, a city elite stroller (bulky & heavy when folded), and a soft cooler and backpack going to the parks with us.
We have decided to take our minivan.
The other three parks seem simple, but I'm lost on how best to get to MK by rope drop.
I understand there is a trolley, a boat, and a monorail.
What's the easiest way to get to MK from the parking lot with a stroller?
How early should we get to parking lot to make rope drop?

We normally get to the MK parking lot about an hour before RD and have always made it past the tapstiles with no problem. It kind of depends on what time of year you're going.

From the MK parking lot, your options are boat (ferry) and monorail, unless the monorail is down for some reason, or it's terribly foggy and the ferry isn't operating. You can roll your stroller right on to either vehicle. Which one is quicker is a toss up. If the ferry is in the process of loading when you arrive, it'll probably be quicker. If the ferry has just departed, you'll have a decent wait for it to come back and the monorail would be quicker. I prefer the monorail either way, but the choice is yours.

Please note that if you need to use the parking lot trams at any of the parks, you will need to fold up your stroller to put it on the tram.

You take a tram from the parking lot to the TTC (ticket transportation center). That's where you will catch the monorail to MK.

And in order to use the tram you will have to fold the stroller.
If you are early and near the front of the MK parking lot it may be possible to walk to the TTC without using the tram. But you won't know that until you get there

Thanks so much.
The monorail goes to the MK parking lot?

For clarification, you park at the TTC (Ticket and Transportation Center) in order to go to the MK. The MK doesn't have a parking lot, per se. I usually refer to the TTC as the "MK parking lot," which isn't exactly true.

I disagree. The toll plaza booths at the entrance to the parking lot have a big sign over them.

"MAGIC KINGDOM".

It is the Magic Kingdom parking lot, at which is located the Ticket & Transportation Center.
