When I head to Disney end of November, I will be staying Friday night at Lake City, FL. On Saturday morning I will be headed to Disney. It's normally about 2.5 hour drive according to google maps. However, provided it is still happening, there is a home game for Florida that day. How much extra time should I allow to get to Disney with possibly having to get in football traffic near Gainsville?

Just guessing..... but I doubt there will be any fans to deal with, which equals no traffic.

I wouldn't worry too much. As FCdub said, Florida is limiting attendance. Most traffic on I-75 would be north bound for the game due to various reasons.

Well, duh - I forgot about the reduced capacity. I just hope we are all still playing by then. Geaux!

In addition, I-75 passes Gainesville well away from UF and to the west of the town of Gainesville. I don't think you'll have any issues.
