Driving from Tampa

I am driving in from Tampa on Saturday, going to MK, any suggestions on route? How bad is traffic on Saturday? Should I allow extra time since it's a busy time? I-4 right? I usually come from the opposite direction, so I'm totally clueless this way. TIA

We drove in from the In-Laws in Bradenton and it was about 2 hours. From Tampa I think it is about 90 miles and yes I-4 is how we went. We sat in a 45 minute traffic jamb about 4 miles from the Disney exit, but it was a week day. Don't know how the weekend traffic is.

Oh yeah, how about traffic traffic leaving MK on I4 back to Tampa, I have a business dinner in Tampa that I can't be late for, trying to see how long I can stay thanks

We drove in on Mar 15 during the late morning from TPA. The traffic was realy bad, but from my view it look liked it was due to construction on 275. Once we got past 275 and onto I-4, the traffic was moving until we got to Disney around 192. We have driven this route each time for the last 3 years during Spring Break. We have usually found cheaper airfare into TPA than MCO, so for us, it is alot better. I would say it was about an hour and 15 minute drive.
